Was something posted in this thread about the Db levels being on the V5? Cba to read through every post again lol.
Just seen on my V5 for my everyday car (punto) that it has a stationary reading and a drive by reading, yet on the V5 for my G reg celica there is no such reading.

cheers guys, wanted to be sure before I went and filled her up.

Is all powersteering fluid the same?
Need to top up mine but ive not a scooby about anything to do with powersteering.
Is there different types of fluid for certain cars or is it generic stuff that can be used in any car?

A pair of Black 4point Harnesses
Took a month for the useless couriers to get them to be but what can ya do
-
some 22" chromes would look good as well when you're cruising through the ghetto.
Haha, dont forget the spinners lol
expensive and very heavy, think the ride quality isnt great either
Im only gonna be using my Celica for Meets and car shows, possibly 1 evening a week, after building a show car. Got the company car for everyday driving (plus it uses little fuel )

So after coming back from an awesome weekend at Modified Nationals and getting many ideas on Mods for my Gen5 showcar build i noticed that everyone seems to be going down the road of air-ride on their cars.
I must admit this does look pretty awesome espesh when the cars have 1 wheel off the ground or the whole car slammed to the floor.
Whats all your opinions on the suspension and fitted to a Gen5 St182?

A pair of Subframes for me new seats

This stuff is awsome,
http://www.supagardshop.co.uk/car-care-products/exterior-car-cleaning/bird-lime-neutraliser.html
use this on bird shite and it just wipes off, saves any scratches from the grit in the bird poo from trying to rub it off.

I'll get some in the next couple days and drop you a PM Devious
-
Grey cloth, no rips or tears which im quite supprised about considering they coming from a 20 year old celica with 127k on the clock.

Bit of a random one this,
Im Looking to sell the Seats of my Gen 5 ST182 Celica in the next month, where is the best place to put them up for grabs?
Is it something that is sort after on the Forum is is eBay my best bet?

Im quite shocked by the poor 0-60 time for the GT86, espesh at 25k. An Abarth 500 135bhp has a 0-60 of 7.9 and the 595's 160bhp with a 7.4 0-60. they come in 5-10k cheaper and still a fun drive apart from the fact its still a Fiat lol

Pre-built boxes tend to be a 1 size fits all. may need to remove the parcel shelf to fit the sub, then replace it once its all done and put in place.

I'm in the eastern side, 10 minutes from Southend, does he have a site?
He did have, I think its still online If not look on facebook for his group page. His shop called "In Car Toys", he used to be based up by St Johns hospital but landlord ended the lease. He now on roxwell road past the Tip and public weigh Bridge on the right hand side.
He deals with stuff like Cerwin and Rockford Fosgate.

where abouts in essex are you based? a friend of mine does all ICE installs in Roxwell. He has a few budget packages but they aint crap stuff like FLI etc.

I would have given the car a good home, just a bugger im the wrong end of the country lol

Id be soooo tempted by this car if it wasnt a 470 mile round trip for me espesh if it turns out to be a rust bucket
-
would using different cams just close the valve later? or would the whole cycle be changed to open later and close sooner on inlet phase?
-
Is it possible to shorten the intake valve time on a gen 5 or 6 GT4 and having the valve close sooner?
I kind of know how the VVti engines work in the 7's and how the Fiat (there is some logic begind this) multiair engines work in that the intake valves open later and close sooner making for better torque figures as well as "economy" and fuel consumtion.

Just watch out for pirelli p6000 ditch finders. unless you like a bit of sideways driving

Surely then, if your vehicle has no DB reading on the V5 (more for the older vehicles) then who is to say at what noise level your car was leaving the factory.
