  5. Anyone got any pics of them against standard bulbs. Are they much whiter/brighter? I have read PhilipsExtremes are supposed to be good too.
  6. I've got a Injen SRI induction kit for sale if your interested. £90.
  7. Happy Anniversary Arvi!

  8. In the last 3 years I've had Falken 452, Goodyear F1 Assymetrics and Continental Sport Contact 3's I thought the Falkens were great when I had them but they are a budget tyre and wear rate is quite poor, and having upgraded to the Conti's they are worth every penny of their premium price.
  9. I think if you take the front black plate holder off a Gen 7,as well as leaving the screw holes behind there were a couple of larger holes behind the holder too so a sticker plate may sink into it and not sit flush?
  10. I got my shocks from cheap toyota parts. £80 each I think there were. As for pads, the blueprints that I had were squeal and brake dust free. Got some Pagid pads now and the noise and dust is a bit annoying.
  11. I had an aftermarket alarm and immobilser on my old car.It came with a key fob that unlocked the car/deactivited the alarm and the immobilser. If you didn't start the car within a minute of pressing the unlock button it would arm again. With the fob was another plastic dongle that you could press againts a reader which was in the dash to mobilise as well. If yours is a similar set up it you be be able to turn your immobilser off with the key fob?
  12. Didn't 5th gear do a test where it was shown tha V Power etc did nothing for N/A cars. I can't help but think if I put V Power in, I am then on a mission to get more MPG and therefore my driving style would change to a more conservative method and not then get a true refleciton of V Power "benefits"
  13. Any APC should be ok, just dilute it a bit as you don't want the car smelling of lemons. Also test in a small hidden area first to ensure it doesn't discolour the plastic. Asda do some Kent Microfibre cloths in a multi pack for a good price - good for this sort of cleaning. (not bad for buffing buffing polish/wax either but quite small in size)
  14. Use a All Purpose Cleaner and damp cloth to clean up the plastics. Then use some Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care to buff it up.
  15. I got my blueprint parts locally from CAS.Appears they have an online store as well though the site does not confirm if the parts are actually blueprint.A phone call may clarify though: http://shop.central-auto.co.uk/product/dos...2006/BR/PADS-BR
  16. Not sure if this offer from Toyota World helps you get any further discount mate: http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.p...114017&st=0 I've got Blueprint discs and pads and they are going strong some 50k later. Best think about the pads as well as being cheap are there is zero brake dust - nice for my polished wheel lips!
  17. Bump, now I have full access to the forum and no longer a "Newbie"! Also does anyone have any sidelight/courtesy light (with sunroof) and boot interior light recommendations?
  18. Thanks for all the responses Anyone recommend suppliers for: 1) Bulb Holders 2) 43000k bulbs (is it 35w I need?) 3) Led side lights (4) A warm workshop!)
  19. I put a HID kit in my car 3 years ago.I'm not sure if its just me having got used to the light of if they are not as bright anymore. After 3 years on the same bulbs which is impressive, could it be that they do dim a bit over years? I've got the 6000k bulbs in at the mo. Didn't use any adaptors, might try the 4300k, Is it worth getting the bulb holders?
  20. Agreed, surely the stuff you need info on are Gen Specific rather than needing a Vert Forum? Or maybe I'm wrong? It would open the floodgates for people, (as already started re: autos, for members wanting other specific forums? Turbo forum. Nitrous forum. Lagoon Blue Gen 7 forum......... I'm not knocking the idea, just my opinion. Would love a drop top. (please don't section me off when organising the JAE stand coughdrop!) :hide:
