They leak on all the -GE engines,my gen4 and my GT-four have both done it,like Uncle Milton says defo use good sealant:if you still have cross head bolts they're rubbish.Alan Clogwyn was doing proper hex bolts as replacements though don't overtighten them,use the torque settings in the Wikipedia or you'll bugger the cover and it'll leak again

St Peters street was a bit of a hangout for my Escorts back in the day... Not sure about 'Rapey' carpark, but might have a scoot about when i get the chance and find some spots,few shitty urban places at the industrial estate at Quarry wood and then for contrast Leeds Castle way

Glad to hear it Dan,i do miss my 205 GT4 as it was a minter and could tweak a Scoobys nipples as it went past it But sometimes you have to go the sensible route eh.I was lucky in the time i had mine i had no probs (apart from the alarm lol) and i will have another one day.Having used some of the faff money to get CJN back on the road im loving gen4 162 coolness,looks great,dont see many (if any) on the road and this ones a keeper

I had Magnecors on my Faff,they werent new either but were fine,though a few of the GT4 crowd wont have them on their cars...dont know if its the usual personal opinion thing or what,but i would be very disappointed if they deteriorated that quick on a car of mine.
