Zizzi

Zizzi is a hopeless lifelong sufferer of Celicalitus, from which there is no known cure. Even though she comes from a dedicated line of petrolheads, does not know a sprocket from a spanner, she knows what she likes!

Founder and sole member of Celica Undercover Gen4 Rescue, CUGR, she operates under cover of darkness to save Gen4s for future generations to enjoy, by scouring the internet for forlorn Gen4 Celicas needing TLC, stuffing her contact details through letterboxes of Gen4 owners, or accosting unsuspecting ST162 drivers filling up with Esso finest.

Weekdays she is a very slow, ultra-careful yet scary Volvo estate driver, the sort that hog the middle of the road and trigger road rage , but at weekends, she is a fast, free-spirit of speed behind the wheel of a white ST162 cabriolet, with blond hair flying in the breeze!

Z has probably owned more Gen4s than Jeremy Clarkson has trashed German executive saloons, Jap 4x4s or Aston Martins in his entire career on Top Gear........... ZIPPY (G reg white auto liftback coupe), D747 (D reg white man cabriolet/black hood), SID, (G reg white auto liftback coupe), SAMMY SAMURAI (F reg auto white liftback coupe, & winner of Lands End to John O'Groats TopGearCharityChallenge 2009), WHITE LIGHTNING (D reg white man cabriolet/black hood), SLEEKY (aka SQUEAKY) (E reg white man cabriolet/navy hood), and now re-named ZIGGY STARDUST as a tribute to the 80s!

Every one of them had their own special character, squeaks, leaks, rattles and rust. The exception was the adorable and iconic 22yr old White Lightning, which was utter perfection - a dream to look at and fabulous fun to drive!

This is dedicated to Sid, who at 21yrs young was sent, before time, to the nasty crusher due to rusty wheelarches, and who is now parked evermore in the big heavenly multi-storey in the sky.

Moral of the tale - forget the engine tweaking guys, sort that tinworm!
