  3. Sound/Acoustic deadening (headache)

    Hello Celica guys and gals.

     

    I've recently been looking into sound and acoustic deadening and isolation. I'm not looking into massive ice installs, I'm purely wanting a quiter, more pleasurable cruise. 

     

    I've searched the site, I've looked on the Dynamat site and I've also read sites on audio but I'm at a loss. I have no clue what sort of deadening to invest in. I've seen small bubble wrap style insulation, I've seen 35mm closed cell foam and most inbetween. My head hurts and I'm losing the will to continue.

     

    Will someone with more knowledge than me please help.  I have no idea what I'm doing anymore.

    Good evening all. 

     

    I recently looked at my mod thread to find the Photobucket links no longer work. I have spent hours withdrawing all of my pictures from their service and backing them up. I have tried using Onedrive by Microsoft but they don't give image URLs. 

     

    What does everyone else use as an image hosting service that will allow me to link my pictures???

    Thanks for all the help everyone. I have had no luck with the car. I have tried penetrative fluid on all the locks but no success. I have had the car up in the air to try and find the bonnet release but again no luck. I am about ready to put the window through. I am thinking of putting tape on the window to try and stop the glass from going everywhere, what do you guys think?

     

    Ams. I think I will take a driver's side window.

     

    I am thinking of replacing the bonnet catch with lockable aerocatches so I can gain access from outside.

    Hello all. I'm in a bit of a predicament.

     

    I parked my Gen 7 in my garage for the winter with plans to start it every week. As it does, life got in the way. Now the battery is flat and I'm locked out of my car. I press the button and nothing happens. I have replaced the battery in the key. I can't unlock with the key as all three locks seem to have seized (Can't turn them with the key and the blade is starting to bend).  Because I can't open the car, I can't pop the bonnet to jump start. I'm starting to get concerned as there is work I need to do to it to get it ready for my wedding In July.

    With winter fast approaching, and my wipers blades falling apart, i need to invest in some new ones, was tempted to go to halfrauds but i just dont like the place plus i was wanting some good bits of kit. i dont have a clue what im looking for so....erm...... HELP!!!!

    oh yeah i have a gen 7 and need both front and back if it helps
