3 years, 3 months. Looking back, regardless of the self inflicted ups and downs, best thing I ever did. Shop windows, those circular reversing mirrors, reflections in other cars... always have to look
Plus it helps having a fantastic bunch of nutters on here to help you keep the faith
I've yet to see a double din unit that will fit exactly right using the Toyota side infills. They either stick out too much or look sunken, I had to put a few washers on my retaining bolts just to shove out a few mm. Doesn't help that different manufacturers have different hieghts for buttons/knobs which means that preference changes dependign on model. As for the gap top and bottom, I used some of that self adhesive draft sealent tape just block the annoying view of the wires - even though the gap was small, it annoyed me lots
Can't resist a pic (even though its dark and you can't see the fitment )
Love it, and as a certified sufferer (as my bank balance will testify) I'll also add to that list of pausing for more than a few seconds by any window where you can see your celica and just admiring it with a smug feeling of satisfaction
Nice one Scott
I'm also going to Daves on the 23rd prior to the Bluewater meet so if anyone around the South Oxfordshire area needs anything ferrying to Daves or picked up at the Bluewater meet gimme a shout. Will post a reminder nearer the time too.
> £10K just, like Mick this exludes cost of car. In fact mods have totally gone over my original purchase price of the car!!
Mad? Certifiable!!
Worth it? Apart from current issues, hell yeah!
More money than sense? meh! celica do or die
