163k on my gen ST sprint car and if I'm honest it's starting to show. Engine has a fairly serious oil drinking habit now. Still pretty good going as it has been used as a track car and daily driver for 4 years.
If you drive down to my place, I'm sure I can help you sort that out.
Can't claim to be a professional, but I own a Gen3 so I've had a fair bit of practise. Mild steel only though mate, not set up for stainless.
Damm right Celicas still rule. 2nd and 4th in the final shoot out. Fastest time of the weekend. Good work to Adrian and Johnny.
By the way, if anyone want to see these cars do there thing in the flesh. I suggest you get down to watch your nearest Toyota Sprint Series event, as that is where they compete.
I have to confess to using tapered wheel nuts on non tapered wheels before. Which I presume is what is going to happen here. As much as it is not very good practice, it caused no issue what so ever. So I say got chuck you're old wheels on, and do a thorough job of the refurb.
Frosts, is the best place to but it from.
Just to emphasise a point already made. If you get it on your skin it is a shit to get off. Plus make sure you use cheap brushes, as they will probably be written off after use, not matter how well you wash them.
Bloody great stuff though.
I don't like playing abourt on the road.
But last week at Rockingham I beat
2 yaris
an IQ
ST205 GT4
2 MR2 turbos
1 N/A MR2
and a poorly supercharged Gen7
Not bad for a lowly ST
