  1. General Gen 7 drivers syndrome Passengers front tyre takes all of the load/wear on islands and normal bends Front passenger/nearside will wear twice as fast as any other tyre Recommend Uniroyal Rainsport 3 Incredible adhesion in any weather (Wildly wet/mildly moist/disappointingly dry) Not the hardest wearing of tyres - But they really perform where it matters most:- In the wet/moist (Normal UK weather)
  2. Happy 7 Anniversary Felfy!

  3. Happy 6 Anniversary Felfy!

  4. Hi jakey__boy If your Bonnet Adjustment Grommets are loose/worn/perished I'll bet you will have some paintwear on your engine bay..... This might help..... Paintwork Worn Through To Bare Metal Under Bonnet Bumpers And this:- Custom Resin Badges Supplied By Slugster - Fitted - Extremely Pleased (I think Slugster has stopped producing resin decals - Mook might be the answer)? And for good measure, I'll throw this in..... By Dawns' Early Light As a good excuse for getting up (very) early on a quiet Sunday morning, going for a drive and really enjoying your Celica - Just for the sake of it

  8. Hi,Bumblebee & Adex I do not have a soul Muhahahahhhhahaha.... But, Tech 5's have one, (or 4) (Yes, I'm still around, but my current spare time is being consumed by Skyrim - Note Celica care/cleaning is not affected) Tech 5's; a much admired, low maintenance, good looking, durable alloy
  9. Mmmmmmmm Fondmetal 17" Tech 5's One of the best ever, good-looking, 'sell-your-soul' alloy wheels (An inspired choice by the 2005-2006 UK Toyota Celica Sales Team) Bunch of Vultures
  10. No idea of the part number, but hope this image helps identification There is also one available on eBay Dragon Boat Badge - Blue Rob's Likwidart Dragon Boat Logo on my seat rail covers Corking
  11. Hi Rad Hey, just be assured, your Celi' was the coolest car in the 'cinity ('cinity = vicinity for the elder generation)
  12. That's really uncalled for ORC Anyone is susceptible to an ass-hole in the rear Major sympathies to Samuaw Et al
  13. Really sorry to see/read this Samuaw You genuinely cherish your Celica; it's a real shame, some (expletive deleted), has run into you I drive 6 hours a day and all I'm doing is watching/avoiding/preventing potential accidents We're all human, but some of the drivers on our roads have less braincells/common-sense/road-craft than an amoeba Hopefully your insurance company is a good/honest/genuine one and your claim & repairs will be resolved/fixed quickly Get that GT back on the road! Good luck & keep us posted
  14. Hi Colin Yes, I know the rear of the Gen 7 can be quite 'rattley' Have a look at my thread that Canon4pics and samuaw kindly mentioned Gen 7 Hatch Noise/Rattle Reduction There are two further posts at the end of that thread that might help as well Post No. 23 and Post No. 27 Any questions, just PM me Good luck
  15. For cleaning, I'd pressure/hose wash them first, then brake cleaner & a wire brush and possibly an old toothbrush for the tighter areas Dry thoroughly A hair dryer or the oven will work, (not the microwave), but each coat of Caliper Paint/Hammerite tends to dry within 30 minutes This time of year can be too cold for 'outdoor' caliper painting and also all your hard work will be dirty again within 3-4 weeks Personally, I paint mine in mid/late March, ready for the, (hopeful), Summer
  16. Here you go MagicMan Front Calipers And while your wheels off, you might as well do your brake hubs Brake Disc Hub & Stone Guard Everyone's got to start somewhere
  17. No problems, Bud, a pleasure to be of help You aren't the first one to have this problem and you certainly won't be the last Just glad it's been a simple button press/fix for you
  18. You can have a quick look at the switch as mentioned above If the thin orange strip at the top of the switch is visible - The window is active/powered If the thin orange strip at the top of the switch is not visible - The window is inactive/unpowered Hope it's a simple fix/button press for you
  19. Hi blaine Have you checked you Passenger Window Isolation Switch? (Passenger window is active/powered) If the thin orange strip at the top of the switch is visible - The window is active/powered If the thin orange strip at the top of the switch is not visible - The window is inactive/unpowered
  20. Thanks for the kind comments, Canon4pics, Booth & Others I always strive to combine the Celica to the backdrop What's nicer? The foreground focus or the background backdrop? Or is it a mixture of both subjects? I'll post the postcodes (), when I can find the appropriate plug-in on GoogleMaps Anyone want the links to my other/older images?
  21. Why not use Googlemaps Street View? Bin Lorry (805 x 45 x R170 ) Tyre Lichfield Cathedral Blithfield Reservoir Rugeley Power Station Etc, etc
  22. Hi Canon4pics - Happy New Year Funny you should mention those locations...... Lichfield/Stafford/Cosford Shropshire Didn't get 'out & about' as much as I would have liked last year (Scenic locations are few & far between in the Midlands) Will hopefully do more miles in 2011
  23. Calendar has arrived safe, sound and 'straight' Fantastic item yet again Thanks to everyone involved in it's production - Especially UKSpider Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year :xmas_biggrin: Cheers
  24. Hi All Celica Owners Here's our Gen 7 Celica GT with the Children in their Childseats (Nice to see that the 'Kiddies' are safe and secure) And here's Me & the Wife, , enjoying a nice, quiet Picnic..... Without Children..... (Hopefully, they're still securely strapped into their TRD 'Celica-Friendly' Childseats) (And yes, this is a true representation of Mr & Mrs Felfy..... Minus children, of course) Insanely Yours Mr & Mrs Felfy
