  1. Happy 8 Anniversary gen7nnb!

  2. Oh crap, that's not good Martin. Never seen one go there before. Hope you can get it sorted mate.
  3. Jason, just contact ams, he will send you a good used replacement for around £50 ish. Just put a standard box back on mine so I have the SS one sat in the garage.
  4. Bought my 7 as a 140 on 53K 9 years ago this year. Since then, nearly 100K, lots of changes including swapping out the oil burning 1zz for a superb, strong 2zz. Many more years together me thinks.
  5. Happy 7 Anniversary gen7nnb!

  6. We have one at work, not sure how good it is but I'm in north Bristol.
  7. Evolva 123 is what I have too. it is a bit of a fiddle to get right but it does go.
  8. I don't know if my OBD Bluetooth one will do that. Shame I didn't keep the 1zz ecu from my old engine to test it out. I thought about it but wasn't sure what I would use it for.
  9. Happy days Joe, well done for letting us know. That's probably not a difference many would notice without the right equipment. Glad the closest station to me is a Tesco now.
  10. Maf should be ok. It was mine, which came from ams last year or year before and was no problem before.
  11. My take on this is, if someone like Joe has the means to actually see the difference, I'll go with that. I don't get a chance to put V Power in often as possible there isn't one that close. However, we have a Tesco near us so use Momentum 99. (Even cheaper with fuelsave point.) This last week I had a gas training course to attend just outside of Birmingham, a trip of just over 200 miles from me. The car had no bars left on the gauge so living dangerously. Haha. I put in £40, drove to Birmingham and back then drove to and from work on Friday and Saturday and still have 2 bars left on the gauge. I'll never get exact MPG results from that, really not scientific enough, but I was chuffed with that. Higher octane fuel will always be better, whether you can see the results or not. You'll likely notice the difference more when you change your spark plugs. As someone said, this topic has been done to death but you'll always have your own preference.
  12. Well, I'm not too worried. Got all the detailing stiff when I get back to work on Friday so I don't mind. Also, I didn't really spend long on it Friday anyway. I think it's the whole country at the moment anyway.
  13. So I'm not going near the centre. Marstons green I think the area is called.
  14. Washed mine Friday. Been in the garage since so she is still shiny. Long drive to Birmingham tomorrow for a training course so I'm sure it won't last long.
  15. Oh is it? Sorry, I was in the middle of doing little ones bedtime so didn't get a chance to view the video.
