  1. A lot of photos received already are all under 1MB and it seems to be those who aren’t sending them as attachments. We simply can’t use these!! I can’t stress enough the following: Photos must be of a good quality, this means they MUST be of a certain size - 1Mb minimum for small photo entries and around 4mb or higher for main images Any photos below 1Mb will more than likely be unusable, if we receive photos under this they may not be used and you may not be informed. Don't save and send photos from Facebook or other social media as they kill the quality and are reduced in size so are unusable.
  2. No need to apologise, I wasn't saying it because of that lol just wanted people to know we aren't ignoring what has previously been sent I will do - ill try my best to reply to all emails
  3. Just to say again (its in the first post too) that we will be going through all the ones sent last year too, we still have them
  4. NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WE NEED YOUR PHOTOS!!! So lets try again for 2019 We have the photos from last year and will be going through those and will include these too. Please spread the word, if you know someone who has taken a large amount of photos from a show or meet - please ask them to get in touch. We would like to use at least 1 group photo from shows/meets on each page. So please send group shots too! If we don't have enough photos or photos of quality then it will be pulled, but hopefully it won't come to that. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please submit your photos to the following email address: ccukcalendar@outlook.com IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ : Please include your username in the subject title or email. Regards to the actual photo, previous years we had people sending photos of their cars covered in mud and just sat on the drive or half the car cut out of the photo. Try and be a bit more creative - wash your car, go find a nice location and take some photos if you don't already have some. If anyone has group photos from shows or meets, please send them along too as we need those just as much as your own cars. CLOSING DATE: Friday 2nd November 2018
  5. After some discussion with members at the birthday party at the weekend, the idea of a social event/party in October just after what would have been Deans 50th Birthday with a disco and buffet was passed to Helen who has said she loves the idea and would like us to organise. Bryan has spoken to Helen this morning and along with her daughter Sharna are both thrilled with the idea. The date would be Saturday 27th October and held at The Quays pub - Northampton (where we have our annual January club party) Full information in a new thread will be posted this week so keep an eye out for that but keen to know what you also think of this idea?? We can also look at a summer event like suggested above also - can we suggest you run it by Helen to make sure she can attend the dates etc and then we can discuss further Would be great if we can do both and get some extra events for a great cause on the calendar
  6. I can assure you the money has indeed been ringfenced and won’t be touched. We are looking at a dedicated social event/club meet to hold in Deans memory and will be looking at all your ideas. We haven’t said much on the matter as we were waiting for our management meeting to start discussions on what we could do
  7. The memberships packs can take up to a month to send out, I can see you paid for membership on the 9th April so it should be on its way soon good things come to those who wait
  8. Thanks Clare I'll leave this with you thanks
  9. System shows them as shipped on the 31st January so I would guess they have got lost in the post. I will double check the system and get some re-sent. Have you raised this previously with anyone out of interest? Thanks
  10. Same stickers from Mook as always, no changes
  11. Stick around and keep us updated on your Jag in the Non Celica forum We don't do goodbyes on here
  12. Japfest has moved to Silverstone and moved to a different month. Jap Day is a new show at Castle Combe on the same weekend Japfest usually would be
  13. Opps Just read the thread title and skimmed the post Japshow is a show so when I read that I just guessed that's what he meant
  14. Been up since the 10th December http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/176833-japshow-sunday-10th-july-santa-pod-raceway/#entry2245982
  15. Most of the women I see driving the gen 7's are blonde I always notice things that most people wouldn't notice
  16. Lots of HR/finance office people I'm another one to add to that list, 28 years old and I work in the Fire Service - Finance Officer (Payroll mainly) I have always worked in Finance but more HR and Payroll over the last 5 years. Had the Celica just over 7 years and still love it! Honestly can't see me parting with it for a long time despite thinking about it for practical reasons several times. We now have a 08 plate Civic 2.2 diesel for practical reasons so I can keep the Celica still Always been into cars since I was a tot, I had the city/road carpet in my bedroom and had a Ferrari bed When I passed my test at 17 it was all Max Power and the modding just grew from that. I mainly see middle aged bald men driving filthy not very well looked after gen 6's and mainly middle aged ladies driving gen 7's - probably retired and just pootling around the shops
  17. Well looks like its here to stay for a few more days according to the news this morning, High smog alert has been issues and people with asthma and heart conditions have been told to try stay indoors, sounds quite serious like.
  18. I know, weird! But nothing at all dude, I mean the car is dirty but no dust at all!
  19. Nothing up here near Darlington, but I saw a lot of posts about it on FB
  20. Sorry to hear this dude Its soul destroying when you know someone has been snooping around in your car. Feels weird when you get in it the next time to drive it They smashed my rear quarter the first time they broke into my car, then had another 3 attempts after that (kept finding new marks on the door frame etc where they obviously thought they could bend the door frame and not realising it doesn't have a frame at the top) My Fiance's business was broken into last night, they nicked a fair bit and ransacked the place - soul destroying Work so hard for these utter douchebags (that's a polite way of saying what it) to just take it all away!
