    Our one had a stone strike. I sealed it with Araldite. Gave it a clean with emery cloth and painted it with satin black aerosol paint.

    You won't. Did you select the colour of personalised stickers? Also they get done in batches, usually about a months worth at a time.

    Most welders would not touch a fuel tank. Even when washed out.

    I've looked into a bit more. You joined and paid, after we sent out membership cards, but you would have had the option to select a sticker with your name on and choice of colour.

    If you've got as far as your brake disc's falling off whilst driving, you probably noticed the handling get a little awkward just before that.
