  3. Cleaned the inside of the windscreen for the 3rd time. Used a different product and it seems to at last have cleaned it.. time will tell. Plus took it out for rip around the B roads of sunny Sussex to enjoy the sun

  6. Today I fitted a new battery to The AVON, got it started and round to the front of the house. Hoovered the roof to remove a layer of cat fur. Checked the fluids and all seems well. Interior hoovered, needs a wash though. Will give it a wash and polish on Sunday, take it to work on Monday.

  9. Washed it, cleaned the interior, tested the o2 sensor, tested the temp sensor, checked for boost leaks, adjusted the dump valve (didn't seem to change anything) and then took it for a drive in the sun.

  10. The weather has been dry and I have finally finished painting the underneath today. I also wire brushed, sanded, primed and painted any other metal that had surface rust and cleaned and painted under the wheel arches as well, just to tidy it up. Luckily there were no horror stories lurking underneath that I hadn’t been aware of, other than I will be needing a new exhaust in the not to distant future and finding a split shock absorber gator. The total cost of paint, primer and brushes, to do the job came to £38 Just a good job I didn’t have to include an hourly rate labour charge as well
