Hi, I thought id post a step by step guide on how to change the colour of your clock, its very simple, but can also be a pain.

Things you will need

  • Phillips Screwdriver,
  • Scissors.
  • And the Colour material you wish to use, I recommend using a Dark colour, in other words if you wanted red, dont use light-red use Dark-red as the clock light itself is Bright green without the amber toning it down so you will need a Very Dark colour to change the colour of the clock.

Scissors.

Ok Lets get Started.

Step 1

Take your dash off, starting from the gear stick surround and work your way up pulling each clip out of it's place. (There are 2 screws that need taking out in order to take the upper dash piece off)

Step 2

Now turn the dash piece around, keep in mind things are still connected in places so don't pull too hard, Just Unclip them from the sockets, Now there are 3 screws on the back of the clock piece (Circled in red), unscrew them and you'll be left with this:

Step 3

Take the back of the clock off and you should see an amber coloured lense stuck in place (Circled in red). Now you'll need to pop that out, keep in mind it probably WILL break, but it doesn't really matter. So you should have something like this:

Step 4

Have your New coloured Material with you, I used what is shown below, Now your going to have to determine the size of the piece needed to fit the slot, I cut one Section from the bottle and 2 from the folder, cut them slightly bigger than the slot so once pushed in they were slightly bent back, Like this:

Step 5

Very Carefully put the Buttons back into the clock so you can change the time etc.. Then screw the back on, and put it all back in place and you should have something like this:

Now your done!
