De-tango facelift front indicators
From Wiki
Here is a quick guide on how to de-tango the front indicators on the facelift Gen 6.
Method
Remove the indicators from the car by undoing the Philips head screw that hold them in.
Remove the bulb holder, then place the indicators in an oven. I had it set to about 125 degrees, and left them in for about 2-3 minutes. This is to soften the glue that seals the lens into the housing enabling them to come apart. Keep checking on the indicators, don't let them get too hot and melt or deform. When the indicator is a little too hot to pick up they are ready.
Lever the housing up a bit where the tabs are (fig 1) to enable the tab to come under it, and work the lens out of the housing. If they become difficult put them back into the oven to warm back up again.
Eventually you'll have the lens free from the body. (fig 2)
Unscrew the small black Philips screw that holds the orange lens inside the indicator body, then remove the lens.
Put the front lens and body back into the oven to heat up again, and press the lens back into the body. I also put a small amount of clear silicone sealant around the edge of the lens where it goes into the housing to make sure its sealed and doesn't fog up.
Hey presto, de-tangoed indicator. Replace the original clear bulb with a chrome dipped orange flashing one from ebay and your done.
