jdm rear lights

Question

how hard is it to remove the orangy lense from inside jdm lights.

is it the same as for the front indicators, ie,heat up the casing, pull part and unscrew.

thx

in anticpation of receiving mine from nix this week.

yup into the oven they go... :lol: be careful not to melt them and the lens can break if you use a thin screwdriver

take you time and the orange bit is only held on with one screw

nope dont have to touch the oven if you have a dremel, ive done mine and Dawns.

think there's a cut out method how to someplace

used the oven method as I didn't have a dremel or hotknife

not if you spray the bulb silver or buy a silver bulb

just a quick update.

got my rear lights from nix delivered today, have removed the orangey bit in the middle, so complete devoid of all tango.

will fit them tomorrow and post some pics to show them off.

that will be another little job done. starting to come to together nicely now, just a few more bits left to do and the car will be as good as new.
