JOHNTAYLOR32
Anybody recommend a good alloy wheel protection strip to go around the OD of my 18" alloys please
david924s
Think the best protection would be tyres with built in rim protection and stay away from the kerbs!

skittletastic
Your thinking of 'alloygators' mar - I enquired with sextons but there was a lengthy wait before they could get me in to fit them. Went to a place just past Winchester in the end. Looked great on my wheels, and very thick. They get seated under the tyre but unfortunately as I had aftermarket alloys they didn't seat properly and so I ended up with air leaks. Will be fine on stock alloys. Once curbed you simply shave down the gator again to get it looking nice.
