Plastic Underbonnet Trim Clips

Question

Hi all,

Sure it's been asked before so apologies if I'm like a broken record...

Off the top of your heads, can somebody tell me the diameter of the clips used to secure the plastic covers in the engine bay please?

I have several missing.

Cheers,

Dave.

Well....that would be the answer but I am 200 miles away from home right now without the car so thought one of the kind people on here might be able to answer :D

Thanks. The plan is to get a few bits ordered while I'm away ready to sort out when I get back. Could be an expensive evening!

To mentioned guide i would add some paint on the rivetnut before inserting/crimping to stop corrosion.

I've used etch undercoat(ott, hammerite will do), just painted rivetnut, after crimping i have nice round paint seal on both sides.

P.S original clips are 6mm.

the undertray clips i got were 7mm ones i believe.

i used these ones which are to fit a 7mm dia hole, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-WHEEL-ARCH-INNER-LINING-SPLASHGUARD-ENGINE-UNDER-TRAY-TRIM-CLIPS-COVER-/190818319990?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&fits=Car+Make%3AToyota&hash=item2c6da87e76

i did order some 8mm ones but they too big to fit.
