edwardio
Who was that through? It should be in the region of the 190 quote.
kishan38
That is crazy. I did a quote of the things I'd like to have and it put the quote to like £8000 and it was the only group that would insure me.
rpsmith79
If you are using a price comparison site, then you will get silly quotes like that as they mainly deal with standard cars Best bet is to speak to your own insurer over the phone, or use a specialist insurer

Funk202
Insurance companies are a bunch of morons who are so out of touch, they employ robots who have no 'experience' and i think comparison websites should be abolished. What happened to good old haggling with real people. A computer will never get the 'feel' of a proposer, and a human on the phone can have a real conversation and make a reasonable judgement. Meathead
gone for the simpler, sell my car and get a 190 option. now on the look out for a nice black 190 with about 90k ish on the clock and all the trimmings my car has (leather, climate control etc) and all for about £2400 ish and insurance is a con, i hate the gormless mug u get on the other end of the line that just hates their job so cant be arsed to try and save u money and couldnt care less if you went else where
Sky Insurance
What am i doing wrong??? You are trying to get a quote for a engine swapped car on a price comparison site.. these sites are primarily for standard UK cars. Speak to a specialist insurer. i hate the gormless mug u get on the other end of the line that just hates their job so cant be arsed to try and save u money and couldnt care less if you went else where Not all insurers are like that.
