  4. Been a member on here for 5 years now but its time to move on, unfortunately the vert is going tomorrow to help clear my final debt - if it wasnt for the tax man i would be keeping it and enjoying a roofless summer of driving. I may be back soon if i can pick up a dirt cheap gen6 to run around in you never know, heres a final picture of the vert before it goes to its new home. .
  5. Happy Anniversary sheep!

  6. ive got these on my celica and corolla and cant fault them in the dry or we, these are worth every penny. They are now the biggest selling tyre at my place of work.,
  7. Just ordered some poorboy black hole polish and poorboys nattys blue wax, will post up before and after photo's when done.
  8. As soon as we have a dry weekend the vert will be getting a full deep clean. Just bought some poorboy black hole car polish, love this stuff, but cant make my mind up on what wax/sealant to get. Looking for a wet look finish ideally designed for dark coloured cars - any recommendations. Also any recommenadations on what polish/wax will be good for filling in minor scratchs and swirls? just noticed a hand full of cat claw marks on the wing.
  9. car is now back on the road and running as smooth as. So new water pump, cam belt, tensioner and aux drive belt next week will be full service and valet. so do i sell now and get a g7 or wait and enjoy whats left of the summer.
  10. What a crap start to the day i had this morning. Jumped in the car this morning to head off to work got 200meters down the road and bang/grind/knock/clunk/squeal and judder went the vert. Popped the bonnet and found the water pump has let go big time, cam belt cover is still on but i had coolant poaring out in 3 different places. Should get report back on what happened tomorrowand hopefully the car back as well - i have never in the 20years of working in the motor trade ever heard a water pump sound like that, it was so load that this guy came out of his house and asked what the hell was that noise.
  11. If it was me i would look at either a supra TT, 200sx s14 or skyline R34 rather than a 300zx
  12. The best way to clean your hood is with a bucket of hot water and plenty of fairy non bio washing powder. You will need, may sound od but trust me on this, a fish tank filter sponge to clean the hood with - if your not sure what i mean then look here My link. The sponge will not scratch or damage the hood it draws out the shit which works it wayup the sponge - filters the shit just like it does in a fish tank. Hose down the roof and apply the water/powder solution using the above sponge, you will need to leave the hose pipe on the roof with a slow flow of water this helps wash away the shit instead of soaking back into the fabric. When done give the hood a bloody good hose down to remove all bubbles, switch on engine and leave vehicle running with heater set to hot on full blast to help dry the roof out from the inside out - this speeds up the drying time and stops damp patches forming which cause mould spots. When done pop over to halfords and buy some fabric hood sealer and apply asap to prevent mould spots and fading. I had to do mine as car was sat under a tree for a year and looked rather green now the roof is black and looking good - whole job took me 7hours but i had to clean my hood twice (clean and dry) I will try and find a before and after photo of my hood for you
  13. Shame its so far away from me. If a good clean one comes up at that price in my area i think i may have to snap it up. Is there any really nice ones on gt4oc around berkshire for sale at these silly low prices? not a member so cant get on to check.
  14. Happy Anniversary sheep!
