  1. I must admit to a few in my younger years but not celica related I'm afraid. The pizza box, household polyfilla and 2 cans of touch up to rebuild a rear door the day before a big Ford show is my most memorable one.....no one noticed and the car even went to its grave with its very own slice of Domino's
  2. ST185 Carlos Sainz Steering Rack related question but I thought I'd ask everyone as possible answer might not necessarily be from 5th gen car. The Power Steering Rack in question..... Existing track rod/drumstick.... Max. Diameter 15.12mm (inside boot) Outside boot 13.79mm The question is.... Is there an alternative thicker track rod/drum stick of a minimum diameter of 16mm or larger from another model/gen. of Celica or Toyota for that matter, that will fit in its place ? i.e. Thicker shaft but swivel ball the same size but length not important. Don't want to sleeve existing rod, weld it etc. etc., or reduce thread diameter, just want to cut it and thread it (M16x1.5) and fit a modified track rod....like this.... Maybe there's a later rack that would do the job or provide bits. Anybody know if such an item exists ? Thanks
