  2. One year 12400miles yesterday or day before yesterday P.S why there is no single word in English for "day before yesterday" and "day after tomorrow" like in any other language i know?
  3. Happy 1 Anniversary zajc3w!

  4. a1245 turn towards hullbridge an carry on to wallasea island marina. Not quite in london, but absolute empty 10pm-6am, just let me know when you go as im quite often there
  5. aluminium has much higher thermal expansion coefficient than steel, 22 to 12 (micrometers/meter per Kelvin). If you cool down your wheels aluminium nuts and wheels will shrink more than steel, releasing tension in the cone area, but tightening fit on the stud. Considering current temperatures attacking them first thing in the morning should give you best chances of success.
  6. do it all the time as: On a long and lonesome highway east of Omaha You can listen to the engine roaring one out of old songs You can think about the woman, or a girl you knew the night before But your thoughts will soon be wandering, the way they always do when you riding sixteen hours there is nothing much to do.... my fav riding song - turn the page (metallica version)
  7. Just don't forget to replenish A/C oil, in workshop manual should be a table what component need what amount.
  8. lorry pulling out to overtake can really f*^%^k your day when going 130... even on 3 lane autobahn. So autobahn, sunday(no lorries allowed on sundays and public holidays there) and A2 between dortmund and Hannover are best place to do lift(cut off?) in 6th. Actually past hannover it widens to 4-5 lanes so better go there.... BTW on the way to nurburg ring you'll have all autobahns limited to 70-80mph.
  9. Lift in 5th and 6th are undetectable by ass-accelerometer. You can hear it, you'll see faster speedo movement but won't feel it. Do it on unlimited stretch of german autobahn or race track if you like your driving license ,and life. I wouldn't stare at speedo when driving 120+ mph, anywhere, leave it for passenger - if you find someone brave/stupid enough
  10. Photoshoped, not even good, look at the roof....
  11. EBC brake pads from Freaky and decent rubber
  12. Vapor recovery system transfer vapor from car tank to garage tank - you pay for liquid fuel delivered minus vapor recovered. at least in Gilbarco VedeerRoot pumps. Then garage tank vapors are transferred to fuel delivery lorry. Finally vapor from empty delivery lorry is recovered by refinery and condensed/burnt
  13. I saw noticeable increase in price, nothing more on V-power.
  14. That's exactly how much my was listed for, got it much cheaper due to chipped bonnet, and front brake discs on the go. Looking at my paintwork after wash, in the sun i want to cry - shouldn't really buy this one. put it up for 2500 and go from there.
  15. JDM celica, i found one being broken in Ireland 2 hours ebay browsing to find one.... I was hoping guts will fit my blue plastics, and base is 100% compatible, but non PF mirror housing is different. Plugs the same, but folding signals go where heating is in T-Sport. I'll have both with extra 2 pin connector.
  16. yeah they changed oxygen sensor/cat/maf/whatever at the same time, but terraclean helped
  17. If anything added to fuel can remove carbon from exhaust manifold(as shown in their gallery), it can ,and will burn valve seats.
  18. It would rather drop oil temperature than measurably increase power. IF it's doing anything, hopefully won't do any harm. edit: molyslip not filter
  19. Whel of, stud with nut back in,with thread lock, leave overnight or 8 work hours, undo nuts. New studs if they come out with studs I’m afraid. You can use this thread lock, but stud will need some heat(~200 c) to be removed.
  20. Thread lock, gule basically, but under enough torque or in high temperature removable. Lube on studs is a must with alu nuts, otherwise guaranteed seized nut.
  21. What you mean taking studs out? ripping them out of the hub Or you have bolt-on spacers and studs are unscrewing from spacer? In that case screw them back in with some thread lock. Any damage to thread = new stud, seized nut is too big pain in the back side to risk it ->copper grease on studs/nuts too
  22. just ask them for their torque wrench, and calibration certificate, watch them running in panic for a while. Pull out new key & locking nut set invouce, say something about trade standards and phone call, then enjoy invoice being paid for.
