    Apart from Celica 1977 saying he didn't think the Invidia sounded as bad as he expected I don't hear many comments about the sound, whether that's because there are none or they are drowned out I neither know nor care. Sadly the only "bit of skirt" to pass comment, whilst she said "I don't usually like sports cars but THAT is really nice!" was in her late 80's and gesticulating with her walking stick. A bit of mature is one thing but.....

    spent 140 on a nice tomtom. Not that impressed as it is a bitch to tether and told me I had reached ACE café before the Wembley gyratory when I was leading a convoy ffs!!!!! My smartphone is more accurate but screen too small and can't HEAR IT OVER THE BLOODY INVIDIA. PARDON?????

    I used to drive an s reg 1600 liftback (brothers) It was rusting 30 years ago! know sweet fa about 2 & 3 Wasn't that keen on 4s until I saw sherves. 5s I always did like esp the CS. Well Jel of JonSams new baby. 6 has a face only mummy could love and obviously I like the 7 otherwise I wouldn't have Design Corrected Black Betty. Give me a spare million and I'll drop the 205 turbo engine in the CS. Mmmmm yes please.

    If I wasn't scared by old car bill syndrome it would be one of the few cars I would chop BB in for. As it is for a weekender.............. hmmmm IMHO opinion why boost a gen 7 when you can buy one of these for half the cost????

    Dark Fusso is a ptfe sealant. King of Gloss is a dark high gloss wax. I joined an online detailing group ( a mix of pros and complete donkeys like me!) and it seems to be a very popular combination achieving a deep shine and long protection. I have been happy with stuff bought from Steve at Inspired automotive but just fancied a change and have not used a proper sealant before. How I tell if it beats this when I can't see them side by side I just don't know?!?

    Doncha just reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hate it when that happens?????? Searched on ebay for brightest / most powerful led torch etc. Throws up a 37 led job "officially" rated at 3M CP and it is delivered in the box of a different SIX million candle power jobbie with a beam that supposedly goes six times as far, that was not revealed by the search. FFFFFFFFFFFFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    OP fell into several parts, primarily MOT and general law. 1.MOT is at the testers discretion. 2.Bureaucratic bullshit know and construction and use etc refer to Simon re Noise levels Rev limits etc and 3. General law anything louder than stock is illegal. End of! A non standard exhaust no louder than stock would be fine, but boring. HTH
