  3. Thanks for the advice guys, and i totally agree there's nothing wrong with the 140's power but i just felt it needed lift for *womp* factor lol Unfortunately a Tsport is pretty much off the cards due to insurance companies having a fit about a 21 year old who just wrote of his 140 getting a 190 lol, saying that preface 190's aren't bad for insurance... Only thing i dont like about preface is the grey dash but as you said it can be changed as a nice little weekend project My quest for another Celi continues!
  4. So as i no longer have a 140 for...ahem... unforeseen circumstances I am now looking for another car (or atleast when i get my cheque from insurers) and i was wondering if i could get some info? I loved my 140 but i always felt like it needed a wee bit more pull, just a wee bit but i literally have no clue what the difference's are except for lift and that preface 190's don't have the oil burning issue. For instance are the 190's noticeably better in the mid-ranges? Also is the fuel consumption worse? Thanks in advance
  5. Watch this space tomorrow evening I need to go to a local plumbers merchants next to that road for a bathroom job I'm doing, just need to get a mate to take my pic lol
  6. *googles for closest Triumph dealership*
  7. And a lot cheaper than an induction kit! Probably doesn't make any BHP difference but the noise alone makes me grin like the grinch on sunny days like today
  8. Yeah It's great mate Done it on my 140 with a K&N panel filter and it sounds 110% better!
  9. So parked between 2 fords, in a ford dealership with me in the picture?
  10. Ah i know what you mean mate, I'm in the process of changing jobs so I've got some time on my hands at the moment.
  11. Only takes a couple of days, i done mine over the weekend when i knew i wouldn't be using the car. EDIT - only costs 40 quid for all the gear so you could spend the last tenner on some calliper paint and a brush
  12. £50 could get you all the bits needed to refurb alloys
  13. Hi mate, I found that using some G3 scratch remove paste was great, blobbed some on my finger and worked it in. then cleared off with some cloth and they looked brand new.
  14. Hi guys, well my Celica has been playing up as posted here - - I've had a local mechanic have a look but he can't pin point the exact fault. I was wondering if there is a mechanic on here based in the south-east that i can take my poorly Celica to? I really don't wanna take it to Toyota...
