  1. Happy 10 Anniversary WheelRepair!

  2. Happy 9 Anniversary WheelRepair!

  3. Retail is £60 a rim, but there's a discount for CCUK members, so it will be about £50. Brews are usually personally made by me, and I can usually rustle up a biscuit for club members
  4. It would be better on the rear, and even better repaired! We can do it while you wait, and you get. A celica club discount
  5. Happy Anniversary WheelRepair!

  6. Edited so I'm not repeating mysel!
  7. Funny enough I'm in the middle of writing a blog for the website about potholes. A recent Which? Report says that last year councils spent £22m on compensation claims, so I'd be trying at least. The advice on potholes.co.uk is usually spot on. We repair pothole damaged wheels, and I'm not talking about hitting them with a hammer (which I have seen done). We can do it while you wait. The week back after New Year we had queues!
  8. You can get falkens in 205/60r14. They aren't a bad tyre. Lesley
  9. We fitted one on the castrol 205 many years ago. We didn't have the luxury of sat nav or smart phones in those days, and would take 2 cars down the duel carriage way at a pre arranged speed and messed with it for hours! Hours of fun!
  10. I can't believe insurance company need to know this. Most people don't tell them when put performance upgrades on! I'm going to print that off and put it with my winter tyres materials.
  11. Jerry says 245 if you can clear the arches ROTC, if not 235 B And you didn't even mention Goodyear eagle f1's
  12. Happy Anniversary WheelRepair!

  13. I phoned a few places local to you and have picked the ones that sounded like they knew what they were talking about! Pm sent. (And wheelrepair is a she!)
  14. Tyres have to be stored carefully if not being used regularly. And cracks in the rubber make the tyre unusable. Also of course illegal tyres are 3 points and £250 straight off. (each). Lesley
  15. They are really nice! Did also think you were going to wrap the wheels! Investigated. Binned off! I do any decals in wheels we do, but not sure how I'd do with a band going round! Looking good! B
  16. a lot of garages, and places like us, have kit for removing locking wheel nuts. It can damage the wheel, but if done carefuly should be OK. You can buy these kits but they are supposed to only be sold to garage type places. otherwise all the scallys would be able to remove your wheels... and locking wheel nuts would b pintless!
  17. we won't powder coat them beacause that won't last either. les
  18. They look to be cookie cutters - porsche wheels. if they are genuine then doing them in one colour ruin them! he would run thie risk of getting stoned to death by the porsche owners club LOL. If they are genuine, then really they should be done in black, then the outer section Diamond Cut. It's not a cheap job, but is worth it. If he's just planning to use the wheels himself and not sell the car or wheels it won't matter I guess, until he does want to sell. Les
  19. The wheels look to be diamond cut. That really is a specialist wheel and should be done by someone who has a cnc lathe. We do a postal service and I'll happily have a chat with him about what needs doing etc. - all advice is free :-) He can contact me on here, via the website, ot via Facebook/WheelRepairUK Lesley
  20. My workshop manager can match any colour - if you lived closer I'd say pop by but it is a bit far. A decent body shop will be able to help you. Les
  21. I've been camping with jerry and the two kids in his faff!! Go to your local mothercare and they will try them for you. Les
