  5. Hi guys I have 4 alloy wheels that I need to collect in Reading to go onto my car while mine are being refurb'd (thanks newkid) BUT I am proper snowed under with work at the minute and cant get to Reading for a few weeks. Is anyone travelling past or near Reading on the way to Oxford that could collect for me? I will provide beer (other alcohol is available) and petrol money! Thanks Neil
  6. If we were to do a chrome wrap on a celica it would be just over 2k for the materials alone. The chrome wrap is very expensive. A pearlescent wrap would be around 1.5k for materials so compared to a gloss it is a huge price difference.
  7. Plus some of the other options like the matt and pearlescent wraps, all be it they are a bit more pricey than a gloss wrap compare it to a pearlescent paint job and you'd save a fortune. Or the carbon fibre, obviously not as sexy looking as real carbon fibre but about 10% of the price and still looks the nuts. Plus for interiors you can get a proper textured brushed aluminium or leather or chrome again that is a fraction of the cost of the real thing
  8. Gen 7 in a gloss colour we would do for club members for £850. Any gloss colour you like and you can mix and match, ie red car with black roof. Or whatever you like really! Matt and carbon is quite a bit more but not too much to add carbon in places ie roof. That is assuming it is a standard car, anything with non stock body kits on we would need to look at as that can cause extra work and you'd be suprised how much extra film it uses too.
  9. We would do a gen7 in gloss for less than that.......
  10. So thought the car was in need of some TLC today so got it up on a ramp to do a service and also planned to change the boot struts I had bought months ago! So first the service, I always thought my car just had a cat back or rear tail pipe modification to the exhaust, the tip is 'powerflow' and it sounds quite nice. HOWEVER get it up on the wrap (for the first time since I have owned it) and what do I see, a FULL remus system! With a powerflow tail pipe, for reasons I cant understand. Can only think the previous owner preferred the look or sound of it! The guy I bought it from didnt mention anything - maybe he didnt know! explains why it sounds so good though! So all going very well, change my right boot strut - again day going very much to plan, take off the left strut and open the box with the new one which clearly says 'left' on it! Only to find a second right boot strut! Great!!! To make it worse, I bought them ages ago and cant remember where I got them from!! who is the strut man on here there must be someone selling? But overall I think the find of the Remus makes it a good day
  11. For £300 I'd love to buy that and keep it in the garage as a project car. Love the idea of having something like that to do up from the jaws of the crusher! If only i had the time, money and space!
  12. One thing to consider mate is that a criminal court to convict is "beyond all reasonable doubt" which is actually quite high, and they are Micky at giving out any decent amounts of cash as compo. HOWEVER the civil courts are "on the balance of probabilities" which obviously is much lower. The fact she kicked off, then minutes later was witnessed punching the windscreen, it's pretty obvious she did the rest of the damage and a civil court would accept this. You could all take action against her for the assaults and damage. It costs about £35 to start proceedings and a solicitor isn't needed. Much more likely to get some good money awarded That said some thought should be given to how far you want to take it as starting proceedings could wind her up further. That said imagine her surprise if she was summonsed to civil court and all of you were there with a well planned case
  13. Welcome to Celica Club UK neilw :)
