  1. First it looked like this Then I sold it Then it was crashed by its new owner and written off Then I bought it back and now it looks like this. Such a shame as she was a beauty. At least her engine and major organs will live on in another car.
  2. Happy Anniversary Dtracer!

  3. Happy Anniversary Dtracer!

  4. Best tyre I ever put on my Celica, great on road and track, put them on the wife's Auris T180 too..Brilliant
  5. Yep suppose that's also true, not the natural time of year to thinking of buying a sports coupe is it, early spring would be more apt. Shame I have to sell now.....
  6. I suppose I did know it would be more appealing standard just a shame, suppose i'll have to bite the bullet and strip it. Wonder if I just put some more standard bias pads in the Wilwoods that'd help, make it more road driver friendly, get rid of the squeal when cold. Can you feel the resistance to removing the kit :-) it's just so damn good it's hard to return them to the spongy, lifeless, zero feel standardness argggghh horrible. :-) Exhaust is nice and easy to change, have no problem with doing that. I might PM him. Thanks
  7. Yeah I thought about that, perhaps strip it back to stock, a lot of its already been done. the brakes are easy enough to return to stock but its the time to do it i just don't have at the min so I left em for now. Seems a shame to remove the one thing that really make the single biggest improvement to the Gen 7 and put the spongy standard brakes but I guess mr or mrs. Wanna be Celica owner might not know that. Perhaps have to consider taking the time to pull them off. Exhaust is easy enough, any one want a very rare and beautiful sounding 5zigen exhaust?
  8. Good ladies and gentlemen of CCUK some advice please. Put my beloved celica up for sale and had zero interest, know is it the price that's wrong, is it the advert or is it my location in the middle of nowhere that's putting people off? Need to move it pretty sharpish and thought I was pricing to sell, I thought it was pretty reasonable but perhaps not. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/classifieds/item/489-toyota-celica-t-sport-2003/ http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-mk7-t-sport-vvtli-2003/868842
  9. Sure there will be mixed opinions on this but I wouldn't waste your money. Fill her with a good quality oil and that's all you'll ever need.
  10. Speak with slugster of 121 signs on here, sure he can help you.
  11. Fantastic promotional material for track-ninjas. Top Job Hou. Hope to be at the next one
  12. Mook does the flat sticker infils, about £8.95 if I remember http://www.skewer.co.uk/ Daz (likwidart) does the raised infils around the £20 mark I think Should help you
  13. Happy Anniversary Dtracer!

  14. 'Old Red Celica' seems to be the man for the east coast meets down our way, not sure if that includes as far across as Cambridge but of course you're more than welcome to come join one of them. If you look In the meetings section you should be able to dig up what's happening in your area.
  15. I use SCA Performance centre, probably to far north for you in Norwich but thought I'd mention it. I havn't experienced their workmanship in terms of their exhaust manufacture but they'll make anything you want. I will be having mine built there when money allows, they seem to build what I see as two standards of exhaust: - Standard swaged powerflow (nothing worng with them) to your own spec and from what I've seen to a good quality - Full mandrel bent, tig welded top notch loveliness to your own spec which is the way I'm going but you certainly know your paying for it. I've had a good few jobs done there and I've been very happy with them. http://www.sca-racerally.co.uk/
  16. If I owned your car I dont think I could part with it, she is simply stunning. Spend the money and give it the power it deserves, performance and style, doesnt get much better.
  17. With GreyRacer and Nthnmunky Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 215-45R17 Z 91XL Bought them on Grey's recommendation and they are truely superb. Swapped all tyres on my Auris T180 for them to, They have everything.
  18. As Harwood, said, the larger nut that just spins in your fingers is actually a cover, once you remove that (which can be fiddly) you will see the locking nut, it will have three holes in it that match your 'Key'. Put your key over the locking wheel nut and turn by hand until you feel the pins engage, put you wheel wrench on the Key and turn anti-clockwise as you would any other wheel nut to remove... Piece of cake.
  19. Same as all of you guys it seems, did some research on it and read hundereds of positive reviews on different forums. Think there is an old thread on here somewhere actually. Month after buying the 7 I stuck it in thinking the engine and fuel systems were in good fettle, didnt expect much of an improvement, couldn't have been more wrong, it was as if someone had removed a restictor (ok maybe a little OTT but still). Noticable, which is more than can be said for some supposed power mods. Once cleaned out I've used nothing but V-Power of equivelent so she doesnt choke up again, so far so good.
  20. Suppose you just have to look at each one on its own merit. There are some dogs out there and some beauties. I looked at 6 celi's before I settled on this one, some were rough as rough and they were asking mega bucks, on the other hand mine I thought mine was reasonably priced and she's totally unmarked with a full toyota history. Always the same...just gotta play the game.
  21. Paid £4500 for my 03 facelift with 44k on it about 3 months ago. What you got planned my man?
