  1. Happy 5 Anniversary celicamojo!

  2. for all those conspiracy peeps, wheels and all parts as per initial pic and spec... was it an inside job?.....if I get any more details will let you know....really hope it wasn't
  3. Happy 4 Anniversary celicamojo!

  4. I bow to you sir.... this is awesome.... :adora:   This is why i love this club......
  5. if you find a reasonable one cheap, let me know and I'll do it, then again if you find a cheap one it will sit in the Greenock Toyota museum would rip it apart haha....... but someone should do an SR20 RWD Figaro..... that would be cool......hmmmmm did it ever actually drive? looks like most of the wheel wells were cut out to fit the engine........ did they bolt the hubs directly to the box.....looks tight as fook! Still my favourite option a Yaris......am concerned about the balance of the car however, thinking the Beams will be too heavy for the front of the little bus.... still fancy Prius, lots of weight savings to be had by throwing out the duracells, bigger chassis, major embarrasment to all the scooby / evo crew.....cant find a cheap one however......
  6. Too heavy, Beams loves lightness! Land Rover again perfect for Lexus V8 Now thinking I should buy lots of LS400's.....
  7. old British street sleeper would be cool as...... Austin 1100 with a Rover V8 (or better and muuuuch cheaper Lexus V8!)..... Hmmmmmm...
  8. This was someone on here? who???? Love all the comments guys n gals! However should maybe have been more specific! I am a true Scotsman and don't like spending cash....... Current Mistress cost £250, as she stands today has cost probably just over £3K but on a daily basis beats £20K Beemers and once a £30K+ Jag......needs to be a cheap donor as it really only works if I have that edge, hence thinking cheapo yaris. The Carina would be cool, but as heavy as a Celica so no real win.... Briano, let me know if you see any cheap Prius, that would be awesome ( weight reduction removing all the Duracell would be a win, and the only race Prius I have seen are Jap and Yank!) Keep the ideas coming peeps, love you all!! J
  9. are we talking a proper mini or a BMW half series adaptation? and Cleario, the Beams in discussion is a Red top, as such Front wheel drive....
  10. Various thoughts in my head currently, what is the point of spending lots of earth monies installing a Beams engine into a rusting Gen6 Shell, I can buy a fully equipped Beams one for same(ish) price.... which leaves a dilemma! where to house the Beams I have..... Corolla been done.... What about a Yaris? may have to transfer a lot of running gear and make widebody to accomodate running gear... personally would love to dessimate a Prius!...... I throw this open to the house for discussion!
  11. Edinburgh is a mare Dan, even the bypass and the M8 and dead slow when I go home.....if you are getting 400 miles on open road then would say car is fine! I'm getting less due to hitting the loud pedal once I get on the M9 / backroads!
  12. Would say, initially someone who looks for a bargain and likes to experiment, then 3 months later an obsessive compulsive......
  13. I take it the name Skiny is ironic else why would he be at such a hideous excuse for a 'food' outlet.... at least however he tried!
  14. I will try to dig mine out and measure them, I know they are different from Tein.
  15. Am I alone in thinking this would make a good jigsaw......
  16. cracking photo, make the new one interesting also please! well done Daytona!
  17. you should get Mrs Greyracer to stand in the castle with a torch David!
  18. Happy Anniversary celicamojo!

  19. would suggest getting a battery charger before you go spending hard cash on a battery, it may not be dead! Battery chargers can be bought for under £20, considerably cheaper than a battery. Also if it needs one, find a local motor factors and price one there, you will find it much cheaper than Halfrauds and the staff will have better knowledge also! Goog luck!
  20. from what I have been reading, there should have been enough Saharan sand down there to strip everything clean!
  21. before the Mot, my mechanic goes nuts on the car with a hammer and a screwdriver, much harder than any MOT tester ever will, at the end of the day, I take my kids out in the car and would rather have this. the only rot he ever found was the 2 small (3" square) plates he repaired when I first Mot'd her 2 years ago! Get it fixed!
