Delivered this morning 4 X 225/45/17 Uniroyal Rainsports 3. Picked these up from Beks Saturday with the above tyres going on today when i stencil the Chronos.

Coil overs on a daily driver Gen 6? What do you guys think? Have to take HKS lowering springs off as they are Superstrut springs so am thinking coil overs, good or bad move?

Check the battery connections and the battery cradle tie down bars, i noticed my radio went off when i opened my sunroof one day and i found the battery live connection was loose so may be worth a try. HTH.

The Battery pack underneath your battery is probably disconnected or dead, common fault on the 6s as it is directly underneath the coolant expansion bottle lol.

After fitting new shocks to the rear of the Beams it was still rubbing outside of the tyres over a bump so bought these and i will be putting them on Friday. Hopefully this will cure my tyre rubbing lol.

Fitted 225/50/16 to the 3 spoke Faff wheels this morning and they are spot on. 1 pair of Conti sports and a pair of Michelin primacys all with 6mm £140 fitted.

Also John looking at you gen 7 steering wheel the bag has already been adapted, as if you take off the bag you will see there is a connector block fitted(you can see it through spline hole) which means it has already been on a gen 6 with the mechanical airbag, so get a gen 7 ring cut the connection off an wire into block the job is a goodun. -

John mate you are missing the gen 7 air bag ring that should have come with it, without it you have no connection . I take it your GT4 doesn't have an airbag originally? The gen 7 wheel works easier with the airbag type wheel I haven't seen any put on a non airbag 93-95 gen6, 95-98 mechanical air bag you just need the connection off the gen 7 ring and 98-99 is a straight swap. Hope so too Jan, thanks for offer Jan but i put on my winter wheels as the chronos are going to be re-furbed properly any way when the GT goes in to be painted while the engine out. Cheers Derren that's a big help mate. Thanks Carla i did so i will start the process when i get home from work in the morning.
