  1. I understand your plan, but when you can buy these for a bit more undamaged, it doesn't really make it worth the hassle or the extra money
  2. That side skirt looks pretty fcuked tbh. Standard oem skirt retail for about £35-40 and that's in good condition with no damage. That's why I didn't buy them when I visited that breakers months ago. Plus, if you can fix it, you will have to get it resprayed. Stereo is a great buy though
  3. Im waiting for the pics of that. Yeah not a lot of damage to the c-one bumper, but when you factor in it being repaired and resprayed, its not gonna be cheap on top of the purchase price. But a lovely looking bumper tho.
  4. Theres a bit of the front lower skirt bit chipped off and the passenger side end part has been broken off also, I noticed this on ebay a week or so ago. If it weren't damaged I would have put in a cheeky bid.
  5. yeah he done well, moral of the story is...................avoid Norfolk!
  6. Everything you hear, you have to take with a pinch of salt. Some changes will make some areas better and make some others worse etc etc. Its the owners choice. I hear about Toyota spent x amount of research blah blah, but that was along time ago and some areas (not all) has moved on and and improved since then, so some areas/mods will improve the car than the original parts ever did. It all depends what and how the owner wants the celica to perform. I would be careful what some of these garages say also, as the mentioned garage at the start of this topic thought they knew all about the 7afe engine and they didn't. Go with your instincts, weigh up the pros and cons and do what you want............its your car after all not theirs.
  7. x2This situation has to be cleared up otherwise coppers will just use and abuse the situation
  8. my mot guy is brill.......................because i dont used the beams alot, he had to warm it up for 10mins to fly through the missions. He told me most garges would charge me approx £30 just to warm it up but say they had to adjust parts of the car to justify the cost
  9. we should have staged a mini protest outside the courts ..................and rev our engines in victory afterwards!
  10. steel ones for me definitely , heard horror stories with ali wheel nuts Just ordered a set so thanks again for your help mate
