  1. I've got a white 185 shell here, but it needs togo quite soon, so probably no good to you.
  2. Why not just stop launching - it's destructive.
  3. Surely you can't be in the market for another vert - you already have the ultimate one.
  4. Ditto - someone will be interested I'm sure, make sure you get photo's
  5. The pins and plugs look the same, I'm going to pull the ecu from one of my gti's tomorrow and see if it plugs into the CS.
  6. That might do the job, it depends if there are enough pins in the 182 ecu, I'll try and find the pinout diagram to compare with the CS ecu, how much are you looking for ?
  7. Do I remember correctly - did you say you had some ecu plugs a while back, I'm going to take your advice, sell the link and keep and fit the hydra, but I'll need to make an interconnecting loom - I don't really fancy cutting the plugs off my loom.
  8. Thanks Sherv - I think I probably already got the right advice from Chris, but every bit of info is welcome
  9. Cheers, the guy I bought it from said it was the 'dogs' , but I just took it as the usual flannel to get it sold. I did just have a browse of a comparison document from Xtreme racing tuning, comparing the top ecu's, the hydra compares very well to the link g4, so I guess it would compare even better to the g3 plus. I also just learned some of them have an autotune feature, does that mean they are plug and play ?
  10. I know the nemesis is a good ecu, but this doesn't say nemesis anywhere on it, just hydra ems and version 2.5 ,and some other numbers. I thought the g3 'plus' was pretty close in spec to the g4 ? although I know it doesn't have a built in map sensor, the g3 did come with the map sensor, plus some other bits, gear wheel etc...
  11. I Bought this version 2.5 ecu for my Carlos Sainz gen 5 to go with the new forged build, but have just aquired a link g3, so I'm going to use that instead. It's a fully featured unit, with flat shift, anti lag, launch control etc..and has a built in map sensor - suitable for most engines, but please check it's 100 % suitable for your application.
  12. I've changed my own tyres in the past - it's a killer, at the price a tyre shop will do it for, it isn't worth the hassle or burst blood vessels.
  13. If you're looking at a fwd converted gt4 box, then that's the one - it's been at £250 for months, now £200.
  14. I saw that gt4/fwd box on ebay yesterday - still for sale and the price has come down to £200, a real bargain.
  15. Trial and error I'm afraid - find the size that just fits snuggly over it - the next size down will be the one you want.
  16. A socket will cost you a couple of quid, at most - don't buy a really crap one, you need to hammer it on without it cracking.
  17. They're quite expensive, and no better than using a socket.
  18. You can hammer a slightly undersized socket on and remove them quite easily that way - a ruined socket is a lot cheaper than £18.
  19. I think ams vert was manual, but they are rare, and so is the factory hood cover - I've had 3, all auto. I have to agree with biggy though, the seats look awful in it.
  20. You have to add research and discussion time to those 2 mins - so it really took 3 days
  21. If you make sure the sparks aren't being directed at the tank/filler, it should be ok - only if there isn't the faintest smell of fuel though, Celica's do leak quite well.
  22. Happy 4 Anniversary Paulus3476!

  23. Hate this ! - report him to ebay. I got stuck with one from a ccuk member, the pictures must have been 5 yrs old. Even if it's just laziness, you have to say somewhere in the post they aren't current pics.
