  7. Does anyone have any good tips on cleaning brake calipers as a DIY job besides hours spent with a wire brush or something attached to a drill. Steve

  9. Mine didn't quite pop out, but there is a flange moulded onto the inboard housing, I used the standard Toyota wheel nut removal tool which has a tapered end on it to pop them out, just levered them against the gearbox housing and out it came. Steve
  10. Thats the second Gen7 I've seen on here in a couple of months that ahve been smashed by rabbits, have they started wearing body armour or are these 7's very close to the ground? Hope you get it sorted out quickly and without too much expense though. Steve
  11. Now that is just criminal. Why was I never sensible and put money away for a rainly day? Steve
  12. Hi Guys, although this is aimed more towards the Gen6, views from others owners are also valid. There are many posts on here regarding Celicas appearing in other online sites and scoffing at how much the present owner is looking for. This applies to modded and unmodded cars. However, if you turn this round, there are Celicas out there that are being sold for higher than average prices. Of course a price is always there to be haggled over, some people are good hagglers and some arn't but if there are cars out there going for good prices why not the ones we own? There are always "mates rates", but how many Celicas actually go to a close friend rather than just a person you chat with a lot online (they can also be good mates). Does anyone else feel we are under valuing our cars and loosing out? Steve
  13. I'll just stick them on the rear windows then, might stop the rear calipers from seizing and be counted as a safety mod  Steve ps site managers, my cookie was missing from the joining pack, postie must have eaten it, please can you send me another one
  14. Do you think I would have to inform my insurance company too about a non standard tuning mod? Steve
