  1. sorry , that must've been the last straw last night One of my most useful buys has been my breaker bar from Halfords, makes getting the studs undone a doddle (you need one with a 21mm socket on the end i believe) and if someone wants a xmas pressie idea a small trolley jack makes it a lot quicker too
  2. not under the carpet, see on the lefthand side, there is a cubbyhole inside the rear wing its in there
  3. Thought this was next, behind side quarter panel in boot, usually righthand side, to remove the jack from holder wind the jack and it wll loosen
  4. yes there are jacking points, if you get down on hands n knees and look you'll see a bit along the sill edge with a couple of notches out of it , make sure you choc the opposite wheel on the other axle with either your choc (in your toyota kit) or a brick or something to stop risk of it rolling and make sure the jack is on solid even ground it is easy though, dont worry you'll soon get the hang of it ps make sure you 'crack' (loosen) the nuts while the car is still on the ground and then when you put wheel back on after tighten them up after
  5. Too far away but somebody is bound to have something, even if no one has an 18 if they have a couple of 17 or 16 that would get you out of trouble if you put the 18's on the rear
  6. Depends how bad it is, i had to scrap 2 Oz wheels couple of years back as they were too bad to correct, had them checked at two refurb places
  7. That's something you could do yourself

  12. you might still get a letter threatening fine to go up when its not paid but its likely to be a computer generated auto thing i think
  13. Certainly was, gave ken the willies too by the time he found what was wrong his were off on one wheel and rolling about inside the momo centre cover. I give mine a random check now , hope that wasnt done by some lowlife starting to knick yours and maybe getting interrupted
  14. you have checked the rest i guess? aftermarket wheels got the right nuts on? or you had any tyres changed in the last couple of months? ken had some new tyres earlier this year and one of his did the same a few days later cos the bozos hadnt done them up properly

  20. because there's been some accidents is why, it was one of the things on the speed awareness course - depends on what but goes down the more there is. if a certain amount of time then goes by without any accidents they will increase it again by 10mph, there is a road near here that was a 40 recently has changed to a 50
  21. Well spotted Shaun , get it on there tabba
  22. I would put it in writing and send it to the Norfolk Police HQ stating you want an acknowlegement of letter sent which will be presented to the court.
