I had a rep come to see me at work , he had his boss with him - someone popped in and said there was a bunch of guys in hoodies round my car so i excused myself and went to check out. Was some eastern european lads having a good gander and looked harmless enough but i moved it down nearer the shop. When i went back in the reps boss asked me what i had, oh man you got a gen 5 gt4 lets go outside - work was forgotten while he had a good look round and under the bonnet and a natter for the next half hour

Nearly always get flash back and a wave from the gen 6 owners when out in the vert, plus strangely jag vert owners and other even nicer prestige types which is kinda nice the gen 5, well there isnt any round here that i've seen but mr2 owners and anyone else with flippy headlights gives the thumbs up, plus a couple of gen 6 gt4 owners who recognise it as a predecessor will thumbs up and wave dunno whats up with them up your way

sticking calipers or handbrake is my first thought these dont like being left parked with the handbrake on for any length of time abs light on could be faulty sensor or number of things and could possibly be the reason the car was sat around after failing an mot try checking for fault codes and that could show up which sensor is faulty, might even just have got dirt in it

not sure whether t cut will help make this match sometimes the paint is just a slightly different shade good luck with getting it back together and doing the door lock, i hope you have a better day than yesterday

jeez quick reply before i go to work mods, yes. I did with my gen 5 when it got written off so long as you got standard bits to replace if needed - first thing off mine was its Oz wheels

I think it highly unlikely this was done by courier. Tell seller you have had them checked and what the wheel refurb guy said and that you are contacting ebay

3sfe? just to confirm, is that the ST 1.8? If it is then no it doesnt fit , i had an ST and had problems getting a secondhand exhaust as the ones available were always 2.0 litre ones Have you pm'd Bigb, he will be able to verify what fits what on the gen 6's i would think
