Drilled you can get cracking issues - i have never had this and it tends to be applicable for track use really in my mind. I would however go grooved and dimpled personally I dont know if M-TEC do them but if you can get the zinc coated discs then this will stop the hub and vents on the disc rusting Cheers Mike

What i would say with M-TEC (had a few sets) you need to bed them in. Ror the 1st 500 miles - no harsh braking (obviously if you need to it cant be helped lol) But lengthen your braking distances, and brake gently. Reason is they are not heat treated (tempered) like EBC - (although im guessing the latest batch of EBC have failed this step)!!! So if you go hard at them from new they WILL warp. So gently does it for 500 miles - after that these brake disks are top notch - i would go as far as saying as good if not better than ebc. HTH Cheers Mike

Hi I just thought I would post a quick apology up for my recent bshaviour and post about my car being For sale. Ive had a lot on my plate recently with work and home life. The car pissing me about with one thing after another was the final straw. Drive shaft. Knocking still there. Power steering pump and rack. Knocking still there etc etc. so I lost my rag. Sent it to my mates garage and told him to right it ready for sale. Expecting a phone call with a.bill for a superstrut rebuild.........a nine pound crush tube was the culprit. I ended up working a seventy hour week last week to pay for all the work to date. You can imagine my relief when I got the call. He couldnt even bring himself to charge me the half hour labour he felt that.sorry for me! so she is perfect again. I ran myself into the ground laxt week and paid my savings account back.........so alls well that ends well. Im just glad no one came and wanted her. Next job. Cambelt! Yes TRD Sport M : This ltd edition run of only 1200 cars, starts life as a bare bodyshell, where TRD strengthen the the roof pillars and the suspension pick up points, but doing this adds weight - so they remove the soundproofing to compensate. The six speed gearbox has a TRD helical LSD which virtually eliminates wheelspin.
