Gone for 45s all round, have to admit I'm fed up with the harsh ride my 40s have given me.

Anybody gone from 45 to 40s and noticed a huge difference? Thanks!

Might get some Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta in that case then, they don't do them in a 45 so might save me the trouble in the mean time?

Hi All, Wanted some new tyres for the front (Uniroyal Rainsport 2) but have just found out I'm currently running 215/40/R17 but the Gen 7 should have 215/45/R17. My question is does having the 45 profile make a HUGE difference? If so looks like I'll be getting 4 new tyres as I am assuming you can't run 215/45/R17 on the front and 215/40/R17 on the rears? Thanks

They don't have the pistons and all that I remember it being said somewhere? Best thing to do would be to open it up and to be sure ..

Denmead tyres have the Hunter equipment which is similar; did a fantastic job on my car.
