  1. if the light on the fob comes on when you press the lock button - then its probably because a door or bootlid isnt closed properly - is the door open warning light on?
  2. What car is it? Also is it a proper auto or an actuator-clutched semi auto?
  3. I wanna know what an AIRFANTASY is and how it works??
  4. Proper charger can bring a really low battery back to life - them smaller chargers don't always do it
  5. If the battery is still ok to open the doors, might be worth taking it off and taking to your local garage who should charge £3 to put it on a proper charger for a day. Would probably leave it disconnected whilst it's parked, I do this on my cars and it means they work after 6 months If the battery is still ok to open the doors, might be worth taking it off and taking to your local garage who should charge £3 to put it on a proper charger for a day. 6. On the 7, if you press the lock button twice it will deadlock so even if you smash the window you cannot open the door. A load of cars around my mates got broken into last year and all they took was change out of all of the ashtrays .
  7. cats will usually fail quickly if the car is running rich - so have you chnaged your pre-cat lambda sensor?
  8. where did you get it done - one of my rota's has a slight buckle i think
  9. Do you think anyone would nick these wheels though? id be tempted to just put 4 normal ones on saying that I did have someone try to pinch my ma61 wheels from the ta22 - but they are rare now
  10. so i think you should have all 5 as the washer type , does the end of the washer type fit inside the hole ?
  11. Do them by hand using a standard length brace and you should be ok
  12. Depending on the wheels - you could go for 17mm head ones if space is tight - I would only fit tuner ones if they are the only ones that would fit the wheel - have seen too many cars with cracked ones - saying that I have them on the mr2 - but that is because they wont take a normal nut http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16-x-Chrome-Steel-Wheel-Nuts-M12x1-5mm-Honda-Mitsubishi-Toyota-Mazda-/221272342953?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item3384dc01a9
  13. Are they aftermarket wheels? You probably need aftermarket nuts with a 17 head
  14. How much would a dash cost roughly?
  15. come and pick it up - at least then you can use if it you want
  16. I just took 30+ dashboards and complete interiors to the plastic recycling factory a few weeks back I have a facelift dash for free if it can be collected in next few weeks
  17. Without a cabinet doesn't the shot/sand go everywhere
  18. I stopped using flashlube at about 140,000 (converted at 73,000) - when I found it was effectively only getting to cylinder 1 now on 216,000 miles and still ok think the fact that its burning oil may be helping though I know the 3s-ge and earlier fe engines used to burn valves without flashlube but from what ive heard the vvti engines dont suffer so much
  19. Was going to say try a battery before you write it off
  20. 100s of cars fail on brakes, new disks and pads are fitted and the car literrally goes from the workshop onto the rollers
  21. it does work on cars that have borderline emissions failures
