    Don't need to disconnect battery. Remove the 15a EFI fuse for a few seconds to reset ecu...

    It is totally different - how the car should be i think, especially after owning a 140 for 5 years! it pulls better in all gears and then......there is lift.....makes you smile ever single time! The 140 felt sluggish and slow to rev, the 190 freely revs. MPG is not much different to be honest, unless you hit lift loads. However, my 140 is up for sale... with a few mods. Though i have a member interested at the moment

    Quick question... My wing mirrors are in a really bad condition paint wise, I didn't do the best job.. I think I should have lacquered them, because I didn't and they are really dull. Anyway, to lacquer should I just wet and dry with fine paper and then lacquer?

    Cool man, i've just ordered a new battery off ebay for £45. Should be ok. I noticed in the last few months that sometimes my digital fuel screen dims with the subwoofer sometimes, so i think the battery was always on the way out.

    Fair enough, so weird. It was fine, then i left it one week and its now gone! So why as soon as i plugged it in on the charger, it went straight to max instantly?

    God damn it, i have plugged in the charger and all the LEDs light up and show it is 100% already!? So it isnt the battery now? :S

    I dont think i will have it another winter to be honest! I just got a charger from homebase for £12, see what happens. Also, the left HID headlight hardly comes on now...everything is going wrong on this car now! Haleks gear light broke, rear number plate light has a loose connection. Grrr Could the HID going be connected? I have checked all connections, it only fires half the time and then goes off. Battery related for some reason?

    Yeah might get a charger i guess, the LED on the battery is still green(ish) so may still have life in it i guess.

    It starts up quick and fine after a little run, i just took it out for 20-30 mins. The OBD port says 13.2V and steady, so the alternator is fine. Im thinking maybe its because i left it in the cold for a week untouched through all that snow?     I havent got a charger, if i use my OBDII reader what voltage should i be expecting? If i took it for a long run would that help?

    Ok so i left the Celica for a week, come back and it is struggling to start. It turns over slowly a few times, groans a little then starts eventually. Is the battery going? Last time my battery was dead it clicked, but that was completely dead. I have had the battery 5 years

    Wifi? I have OBDII ELM Bluetooth transmitter, the cheap one on ebay and it works fine with Torque. I use it all the time to clear my recurring fault code

    Its lucky they dont know about the oil issues! But tell them, its a Toyota. That engine isn't even halfway to death lol. What do they drive?
