  1. This is what I use for the alcantara seats in the MG.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cordless-Battery-Operated-Mini-Lint-Remover-Bobble-Fabric-Clothes-Debobbler-/201037177155?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2ecebfe143
  2. OE Toyota nuts will be 1.5, Bryan...but it's the thought that counts
  3. Ran 18's on and off between 2005-10, sold the last set four years ago, and I'd never go back. Set of rims number 14 (17's) will probably be fitted next week
  4. Even if you just replaced the front tyres with 225/35, you would notice the difference in acceleration. I couldn't live with 225/40 on my 140, and changed them to 225/35 after just two weeks. http://www.camskill.co.uk/m61b0s20p0/Car_Tyres_-_MPV_Tyres_-_People_Carrier_Tyres_-_18_inch_R18_inch_-_225_35_18_225_35R18 On a different note, with your rims having a polished finish, did you know they will not cope well with a damp British Winter?. I'll try and give you some good news one of these days
  5. I think you mean ZCW. I reckon 17mm on the rear to be on the safe side, with 225/40 tyres (20mm wider than OE), any wider and you risk rubbing. Unfortunately, those oversize tyres are doing your 140 no favours at all.
  6. Rims are probably 8J, but you need to discover the ET/Offset..should be on the inside of the rim. Look for something like..ET35.
  7. What's your rim width, ET/Offset, and tyre size?.
  8. Another addition to the Wymondham museum?
  9. Changing to 205/45/17 (if your rims are no wider than 7J), or 215/45/17 would be better, as the loss in acceleration wouldn't be as noticeable.
  10. I'd get some quotes pronto, and then decide whether to put it through your insurance, or bear the brunt yourself.
  11. Jesus!..I feel your pain Do you have protected NCB?, as it's not going to be cheap to have that professionally repaired.
  12. I was here, Ian.. http://mgandtriumphsparesday.co.uk/
  13. There's always Lee at Se7en with his Stage 2 cams. "Better the devil you know" and all that..
  14. They should fit all UK spec. Gen 7's. What exactly is your mechanics problem getting the springs to fit, Chris?.
  15. Have they seen the kit you want fitting?, as I don't see how they can quote without examining it first. What are you doing about the wheel arch plastics?.
  16. ..and here's me thinking Toad were made specifically for the Gen 6
  17. I'd be surprised if you needed as much as five litres, mine only took four. You can buy Toyota LongLife either concentrated or ready mixed. For something that only needs changing once every few years, spend a little extra than the EuroCarParts O.A.T., and have the peace of mind knowing you have a quality coolant as recommended by the manufacturer.
  18. The ST and SR are renowned for using oil :xmas_wink:
  19. Do you have Toyota, or after market rims?.
  20. I know the link below is "collection only", but this is the type you need.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/toyota-locking-wheel-nuts-/331063293305?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item4d14e8f579 Get the McGard type if you can, as the "three prong" type fitted to early Gen 7's are nowhere near as good.
  21. Depending on the width of the nut recesses, you'll need either of the links below.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-x-ALLOY-WHEEL-NUTS-FOR-TOYOTA-AURIS-AVENSIS-COROLLA-CAMRY-CARINA-M12x1-5-P7-/140938450945?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&fits=Car+Make%3AToyota|Cars+Type%3A1.5&hash=item20d0961801 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-m12-x-1-5-TOYOTA-LUCIDA-JAP-IMPORT-ALLOY-WHEEL-SLIM-TUNER-NUTS-BK-LG-KEI-FOX-/130681580948?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item1e6d3aad94
