The rear springs are in terrible condition, so will need changing soon I think. I may as well drop it 30mm while I'm at it, right ?
haha Cleario, glad it's put your mind at ease. These are a type of mustard colour I think.
The standard wheels on the Gen 7 are nice but I wanted a change so I went out and bought alloys. They were a multi fit but I made the mistake of not taking into consideration the ET. So I had to buy hubcentric spacers from FreakyParts on here.
I bought Kumho ECSTA KU39 tyres x 4 and got them put on the car yesterday. Sun was out today so I managed a few pictures. Luckily where I live there are a lot of B-Roads so quite a few opportunities for good pictures.
I'm very happy with how the car looks now. Now to look at lowering !
The wrong tyre pressure can be deadly, as a girl in my town found out about 6 years ago. She didn't know what she was doing at the self air pressure sections of a petrol station. They reckoned she put something like 90psi into her tyre. Then 8 miles later it blew and she crashed on the motorway, dying instantly
40psi is way to high ! They should know better.
I do my tyres at 31psi all round. On track days it can differ from 22-24psi as you need to take on board the heat of a track session.
