  8. I've been reading up about oil catch cans from various sources and the consensus is that they are 'required' for turbo cars but what about N/A cars? Does they give any sort of benefit and if so what? On a side note where do they actually attach to on the car and does anyone have any pictures of their car with one attached?
  9. I've had my Gen6 for what has just passed 10 years. I bought it when I turned 18 when my Clio decided it didn't want to live anymore and pretty much exploded on the A66. I'll be honest I just can't seem to part with it now. There has been times when it has been locked away in the garage due to me working away but after all that time it still starts first time, every time. I paid £1800 for it back then and its been worth every penny! Even now when I take her out on the weekend I still say to my girlfriend 'God damn, I love that car' when I come home.

  11. I had the clunking on my GT a while back and I found was when the inner pads were catching ever so slightly and would move along with the outer disk and then jump back into place when they stopped catching. To be honest I found this happened more if I was reversing but that was because it was the left hand inner pad which was catching and thus was the one which was being moved ever so slightly and then jumping back. The entire system needs to be setup near perfectly to have them not catch and work correctly (or as well as they possible can). I found the major issue which was making mine catch was that the handbrake cable was slightly stuck and was causing the inner pad to stay locked in place. Once I removed that and cleaned it all up and then rebuilt the entire handbrake (for the 500th time since I've own the car) the clunking stopped.

  13. "Thats a very loud car, My husbands a police office so I wouldn't drive it past my house" Which was pretty interesting due to the fact I had no idea where the lady actually lived.
